As Good As Broadway
Our family of four (3-males 1-female) believes that this show was just as great as the Broadway show our parents went to see 25 years ago. The songs have been on repeat since the show ended, and we sing along daily while watching the DVD. Kathryn Holtkamp's rendition of 'Touch Me' was exceptional, reaching a remarkable high note. Matthew Taylor as Rum Tum Tugger was superb, along with the rest of the cast. We truly regret there won't be another show soon, but we'll be there for “The Garcia Project - Tribute to Jerry Garcia” when it comes back. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful and unforgettable night!
In December 1985, we had the opportunity to see a show at the Winter Garden Theater in New York City. When our sons were young, we bought Old Possums Book of Practical Cats and they memorized all the poems. We also watched the 1999 PBS Television performance and got a video tape.
